It is our pleasure to announce our pre-seed round of $2M with participation from Climate Capital, Liquid2 Ventures, the Shared Future Fund, Soma Capital, and Y Combinator. These firms invested alongside founders from a range of software and climate technology companies like Evergrow (carbon finance), Waterplan (climate and water risk), Forge (secondary exchange), and Weebly (website builder).
We also want to take this moment to thank and recognize the five (!!) new part-time and full-time contributors at Phoenix Hydrogen since the start of the year. On our digital team: Eda Goksel Jackson (design), Tim Mansfield (engineering), Greg Wrobel (engineering). On our logistics team: Curt Brechtel (project development), Temitayo Giwa (analysis).
We started Phoenix Hydrogen to unlock grid-scale hydrogen, so renewable energy can replace more fossil fuels. We're very pleased to join forces with our new investors and team members as we work towards that goal. And now, back to work!
